Description of Activities: Quad Pull, Tire Burnout, Mechanical Bull, Parade, Mud Bog, Music Concerts, Photo Booth, Bouncy Castle, Foam Slip & Slide, Pedal Pull, Fundraiser Breakfast(s), Concession, Animal Tent, Fireworks, Helicopter Rides, Free Swimming, Museum Days, Lakers Game, BBQs, 5K Fun Run, and Other Activities

Elements of Risk: Recreational activity programs, such as but not limited to the above activities involve certain elements of risk. Injuries, loss/damage, death, or other may occur while participating in these activities. The risk of sustaining injuries results from the nature of the activity and can occur without fault of either the child, or the Kinsmen Club of Grandview, the Grandview and District Recreation Commission, the Grandview Municipality and/or their employees /agents or the facility where the activity is taking place. By choosing to have your child take part in this activity, you are accepting the risk that your child may be injured. The chance of an injury occurring can be reduced by carefully following instructions at all times while engaged in the activity. If you choose to have your child participate in the above described or other activities, you must understand that you bear the responsibility for any injury that might occur. The Municipality does not provide accidental death, disability, dismemberment or medical expense insurance for participants of this activity.
Acknowledgement: We have read and understand and accept the above and provide the Kinsmen Club of Grandview / Grandview Municipality / Grandview & District Recreation Commission with the following waiver of liability and indemnification agreement. We understand that in participating and/or granting permission to participate in the activities described above we are assuming the risks associated with doing so.
Release and Indemnification Agreement: I hereby release the Kinsmen Club of Grandview / Grandview Municipality / Grandview & District Recreation Commission and their respective staff and agents from any and all liability for any injury sustained by my child, regardless of how caused, resulting from their participation in the Grandview Homecoming and Mud Bod Weekend on August 7, 8, 9, 10 – 2025.
I further agree to indemnify and save harmless the Kinsmen Club of Grandview / Grandview Municipality / Grandview & District Recreation Commission and their respective staff and agents from any and all suits, demands, torts, and actions of any kind which may be brought against their staff or agents for which it/they may become liable by reason of any injury, loss, damage or death resulting from, or occasioned to, or suffered by any person or any property, by reason of any act, neglect, or default of mine or my child.
Permission: I, the below signed parent/guardian, provide permission for the below named child to participate in the abovementioned and any other activities at Grandview Mud Bog Weekend on or about August 6, 7, 8, 9 – 2026.
